CBD Tinctures

Did you know that tinctures are among the most popular and effective CBD products? Their effectiveness stems from their method of ingestion – they’re drops of liquid, applied under the tongue for maximum absorption. Mouth glands send the CBD straight to the bloodstream, bypassing the liver and making for a faster delivery.

As a result, tinctures act faster and with greater effectiveness than the majority of CBD products. We source our products from the most reliable source, delivering a seamless experience to our customers. Please explore our products today!

An Introduction to Tinctures

It’s important to keep a few things in mind when choosing the right cannabidiol tincture, or CBD oil.

There are three forms of CBD tinctures, with tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) being the distinguishing factor.

Full-Spectrum CBD Oils

Full-Spectrum CBD implies THC inclusion, the psychoactive integrant of cannabis - though this doesn’t mean that these tinctures will make you high.

The low THC concentration means there’s practically no risk of intoxication. However, CBD and THC are just two of the ingredients in Full-Spectrum CBD, alongside hemp plant elements such as fatty acids, natural terpenes, and essential vitamins. As well as an array of natural cannabis compounds including: cannabichromene (CBC), cannabinol (CBN), Cannabigerol (CBG) and terpenes such as myrcene, limonene, or pinene are the primary components.

Keep in mind that Full-Spectrum CBD is often called “whole-plant CBD” due to its numerous cannabis extracts, made with plants containing less than 0.3% THC to abide by federal law.

Broad Spectrum CBD Oils

The last form of CBD is called Broad Spectrum and, similarly to Isolate, is typically absent of THC. Still, an array of natural cannabis compounds remain: cannabichromene (CBC), cannabinol (CBN), and terpenes such as myrcene, limonene, or pinene are the primary components.

It’s important to note that while this tincture doesn’t usually contain THC, poorly made products will contain traces of it. A good way to think about Broad Spectrum CBD is as a middle-ground between Full-Spectrum and Isolate.

Our goal is to provide our customers with the most reliable products, and we have a huge collection of CBD oils with strengths ranging from high potency CBD concentrations to small doses. With a number of different flavors and potency, you can select the option that works for you!

CBD Isolate Oils

Contrary to its cousin, CBD Isolate refers to a pure form of CBD that contains no additional cannabis elements. Isolate CBD is far less effective than Full and Broad Spectrum formulas. Why? All plant matter such as oils, THC, chlorophyll, and waxes are completely removed. Isolate CBD and is typically taken in larger doses to see effects due to its lack of additional compounds. This is a great option for first-time CBD users who’d rather not ingest the THC present in Full-Spectrum tinctures.

The Benefits of Each Type

Although research is still young, CBD studies have identified a slew of physical and cognitive benefits to their use. Their usefulness is defined by the “entourage effect,” which refers to the synergistic relationship between the plant’s compounds apart from THC.

  • Full-Spectrum CBD  The compounds at work include cannabichromene (CBC), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabigerol (CBG), and cannabinol (CBN). The largest benefit to this tincture relies on the synchronous effects of each of these compounds - reminiscent of the entourage effect.
  • CBD Isolate Many users see CBD Isolate as safe due to its absence of THC - though it’s also highly processed. Its purity means it’s also void of several other naturally occurring compounds, so it could lack in benefits when compared to Full-Spectrum and Broad Spectrum CBD.
  • Broad Spectrum CBD tinctures are coveted for their assistance with mental health. This is the go-to product if anxiety and stress are knocking at the door. Additionally, it’s much less processed than CBD Isolate, meaning it also flaunts a strong aroma. These tinctures could produce more noticeable effects due to their additional compounds - otherwise known as the “entourage effect.”
